Standard Shop Items

Thanks for your purchase. Your goods will be shipped within 7 days. We use couriers for larger items, and Royal Mail for smaller items.

Hatching eggs will be sent by First Class Recorded Delivery only, although you are both welcome and encouraged to collect the eggs from the farm.

In the instance of a stock shortage, your order will be dispatched immediately, with any outstanding goods to follow. You will be notified of dispatch and of any delays.

All goods may be returned providing they are in their exisiting and un-opened packaging.

This does not apply to fertile eggs.

We do not ship LIVE birds, although we can deliver within a 100 mile radius (mileage cost applies @ 50p per mile.

Gift Vouchers and Seasonal Package

Gift vouchers and seasonal purchases (ie coop and birds) cannot be refunded.

Gift Vouchers are valid for 18 months, and seasonal packages can be "used" within 9 months of purchase.

Chickens, Ducks and things that flap

All of my birds are sold having had a full health check. In a rare instance of a bird presenting with illness immediately upon moving to your new location, please contact me as soon as possible. I would prefer to swap the bird (and ensure it's recovery here).

In the highly unlikely event of a bird dying within 2 weeks of you getting it home, then please ontact me immediately for a replacement, and please note any symptoms presented. Disease prevention is so important for the welfare of the flock.

In the unlikely (but not unhead of) event of me selling you a hen that goes on to crow and actiually be a cockerel - I will of course replace the bird as soon as I can (this may not be immediate as I may need to source another bird)

Any bird sold as unsexed - I cannot replace, alhough I do offer a bird re-homing facility so if your beloved "pinky" wakes the neighbours at 4am - then bring him here and he can wake me up instead
